Default MSDEBUG (msscrdbg.exe) problem

Lately I have begun using the Microsoft Script Debugger.(msscrdbg.exe). Much of the time it works ok for me but sometimes I have experienced the following erratic problems:(1)when attempting to animate client side script, the debugger hangs. (2)when attempting to make the animator stop at a breakpoint in server side code, it ignores the break point and runs thru to completion. I think these problems might be caused because I have noticed if I start over by closing out of everything that is open on my machine, and then re-run the debugger, there will be "active sessions" of my prior running documents when I was expecting there to be none, since as I said, I closed everything down so I could start over!! If this is the problem, do I have to re-boot to clear earlier sessions to keep them from interfering with my most current debug session?

Default

Well I see nobody has decided to reply to this. The ASP3 book indtroduced me to this manner of debugging. Is there a better way that I don't know of? (I know about the tracing techniques the book also explains)
