Default login fail by user 'sa' in .net framework 1.1

Hi there,
from the time I installed .net framework 1.1 (visual studio.net 2003) on my computer which has windows 2000 advance server and it is domain controller, whenever I want to connect to sql by using data reader or "where" statement, I recieve this error that "login fail by user 'sa'" however I could login in sql server 2000 by using Enterprize manager and also query analyser. the sql authentication is Mixed account(windows and sql).
my codes worked in previous version of .net framework (1.0) but now not! I know this problem is because security changed in .net framework 1.1 .I tested many ways to solve my problem but I couldn't.
any suggestion would be welcome!

Regards
Sara

Hey,

Are you 100% sure that no one else has altered the password in anyway, just to rule that out?

You mention "whenever I want to connect to sql by using data reader or "where" statement, I recieve this error that "login fail by user 'sa'" ".

If you leave out the WHERE statement does it connect?
