Reports using classic asp(asp3.0)

Can any one will help me. Iam not getting idea to generate report using asp3.0 with database sqlserver2000. If any one knows please send me the code to generate a report from the scratch. Iam very new to this topic I never worked on this i.e creating reports using asp3.0
