Default SQL Server 2000

I am unable to attach the WroxUnited and ASPNETDB databases in SQL Server 2000. Can the .MDFs in the downloaded source code be used in SQL Server 2000?

Hi,
I'm afraid you can't attach them to SQL 2K sorry no - MS backwards compatibility isn't there. What you can do is import the data into SQL 2K though. That's a good point. We'll look into making some SQL 2k versions of the files available. In the meanwhile I'd recommend an import.

How does one go about doing the import into SQL 2000. I believe this may be my problem too. Is there a tool that can be used for this purpose? I can attach the ASPNETDB mdf to SQL 2005 but can't figure out how to export it into a csv file format for SQL Server 2000.

I'm using SQL Server 2000 as well and concequently cannot run the Wrox United project. Is there anyway to get the scripts to create the tables, stored procs and triggers in a zip file?
