Default Setting up Visual Studio

Hi folks.

This is an absolute newbie question. I've just started going through the Beginning ASP.NET 2.0 Wrox book and just to add a little interest (and the fact it's what we use at work), I'm trying to learn the C# variation, when the book is written for VB. I've downloaded all the C# script so no problems there.

I'm now in Chapter 6 and have come up with the same problem as in previous chapters but previously pressed on regardless (who says we never learn). The problem I'm having is when I open a file, say 'EditSquad.aspx.cs', the chapter tells me to use the dropdown menu on the left and choose, say, DetailsDataSource and then from the right dropdown list, choose Updated event. I do have two dropdowns at the top of the page but in the left hand side one, only 'EditSquad' appears and the right hand side one has nothing. I'm sure I'm missing something simple here and would appreciate a nudge in the right direction.

Many thanks

Mark
