Default Backup of Database (C#)

Does anyone have a backup (a .bak file, not mdf) of the database that comes with this freaking book that I can restore onto my box? Call me an idiot, but I have tried like crazy to restore the mdf file that can be downloaded but I have failed. I am not studying to become a DBA, I am just trying to make it through this ASP.NET C# book.
