How do I delete a record from DetailsView?

I have set up the SqlDataSource, clicked on Enable Inserting, Editing, Deleting on the SqlDataSource and the DetailsView. But the delete button doesn't appear.

That forum is the general "Beginning ASP.NET 3.5" forum and will most likely give you faster results as more people are watching that forum and providing answers.

That said, did you generate Insert, Update and Delete statements in the SqlDataSource configuration wizard? And does your table have a primary key?

Otherwise, can you post your code in a new topic in the aforementioned forum and post a link here? Then I'll take a look.
