Default Fatal error: Cannot create new user in Ch15

In chapter 15.2, when I tried to create the new user via Login control, below error encountered:

An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. In SQL 2005, the remote connection should be opened already.

Hi Clark,

Probably the same error as discussed here: Chapter11 The SQL database file cannot be created in App_Data folder

Your instance name of SQL Server is different from what ASP.NET asusmes by default.

Cheers,

Imar

How to change the default to make ASP.net could recognize the SQL server 2005 Developer instance?
