Default Design view or source view tab doesnt appear

Hi people,

Could someone please help me as i cant see the design view tab or the source view tab at the bottom of the screen. Ive tried searching every where for this and even tried to google for help but not having much luck...

Im trying to create an application as described on p19, but now im stuck...???
Is their any way in which i can can make the view tab visable..

or is it something to do with my installation of VWD?

any help would be much appreciated as i cant progress any further with the book!

Yes odd indeed.
I'm sure Imar et al can give you a proper answer, but if you want to get on for now, you should be able to right click the file in Solution Explorer and choose View Designer, or press Ctrl + PageUp to toggle between source and design view.

Hi Muddasar,

A few questions:

1. What version of VWD are you using (see Help | About)

2. How did you create the site in VWD?

3. What's the extension of the file in VWD that you are working with (and having troubles with)

4. How did you add the file you're having problems with. Through the Add New Item dialog?
