Hi Dan,

The HeaderLink is included in the two Theme files that you drag from the unpacked source folder into VWD. The Monochrome file is added on page 220, step 1 while DarkGrey.css is added in step 9 on page 218.

So, you didn't have to add it yourself.

Cheers,

Imar

Imar - Thanks for that info

I've been trying to figure out why my Master Page doesn't look like that shown in figures 6-2 and 6-5.
I now realise that it is because, although the class 'HeaderLink' is inserted into the form element on page 197, the Figures 6-2 and 6-5 show the Header div as styled using this class which isn't available until the two Theme are added on pages 218 and 220.
So the problem is that figures 6-2 and 6-5 are incorrect - they should not show the 'Header Goes Here' as being styled.

Or am I misunderstanding something?

Hi there,

The various divs should appear as styled; in Chapter 3, page 75 and onward you added the selectors for elements like Header, MenuWrapper and Footer. The same Styles.css file is used in the exercise at page 197 which then should affect the elements in the master page. However, HeaderLink doesn't affect Figure 6-2; the Header in that figure is styled by the #Header rule,

What may be confusing is the fact that in step 3 you don't add the text "Header Goes Here" while it magically appeaers in Figure 6-2. This is indeed an error and has been described in the errata for this book: http://www.wrox.com/WileyCDA/WroxTit...Cd-ERRATA.html

Does that clarify things, or do you still see something different?
