I've performed the instructions in this chapter to create a web.sitemap. I created two menus: 1)Menu control, and 2) Treeview. The Treeview method works ok, but the Menu Control does not display any information in the drop-downs. I believe I have done everything asked of me in the book. I even went as far as removing my version and copying the particular files I downloaded from the Wrox site. Still the same results.

Do you mean the menu items are all white? If so, check out the errata for the book (always a good thing to do) and check out this post: IE8 and the Menu

Thanks so much. I went to the link you gave me and downloaded & install the update and now my sub menus are visible and active.

I looked at my code three times to make sure I didn't do anything wrong and couldn't figure out why. Now I know!
