Question Is there a step list for creating web sites?

I'm about half way through the book.

When I got to chapter 6 one of the Practical Tips on page 249 suggested starting with a Master page.

I started to write out a list of things, like
1. Start with a Master Page, etc.

I was wondering if there is already a list of what to do?

Otherwise I'll have to go back through the book, looking at all the tips, and trying to figure out what comes first and what comes next, and what comes after that.

Thanks.

Hi there,

No, there is no complete list of all things to do and the order to them in.

However, most of topics in the book are covered in the order you would typically do them. Master pages and themes etc. are a bit of an exception as you need some good understanding of other, underlying principles first.

Cheers,

Imar

I haven't posted for a while. I've had to move on to learning several other required disciplines for my startup, but your book and help regarding asp.net was the best I've ever received. I'm sure that as Dave posted, your new book is likewise terrific. I will likely pickup the updated copy when I come back around to work on website programming again.
