Default sql server version chapter 12

Early April I downloaded the latest edtion of the ‘Beginning ASP.NET 4.5.1. in C# and VB’ book and I have arrived at chapter 12. Also, since March I have installed Visual Studio 2013 Professional’. This edition comes with a version of SQL Server of which I’d like affirmation that it is suitable for recreating the Planet Wrox example site as of chapter 12 and onward.

Thanks in advance,
Peter

Hi Peter,

Yes, the book assumes you use Visual Studio 2013 Express and the Local DB version of SQL Server 2012 that comes with that version of Visual Studio.

Cheers,

Imar

Thank you, Imar.

I am now well on my way through chapter 12.

I would also like to extend my compliments on your book, as did other forum visitors. Your texts leaves no room for misinterpretation of anything your clarify. When summarizing your remind the reader of the most important parts to be held in mind when going along with the examples.

Regards,
Peter
