I read good reviews about your book and interested in giving it a try, but I was wondering if responsive design if included in the instructions provided in the book?

Hi there,

Nope, I am not discussing responsive design. I wanted to include Bootstrap which makes this much easier. However, some of the ASP.NET controls don't work well with Bootstrap. Since this is a book about ASP.NET and not necessarily about implementing an (html) design, I decide to skip bootstrap.
