Sending email from production server

Hi Imar,
I've deployed my website to Windows Azure, thanks to your instructions and your amazing book I've learned from.
But something unexpected happened. I have a contact form with the same settings and configurations in web.config file as in the book, where I use my personal email to send and receive visitors emails, but when I click on the send button, the process terminate, and I receive a privacy warning email to my inbox instead of the usual "visitor" email.
Why this happen? and how can I solve it?

precisely, it's a security threat warning.
happened with both gmail and outlook, that's the message I received from gmail (after submitting the message in the contact form)

But that mostly happens from the production server.

I think what you need to do is set up an "app password". I briefly touch on this subject in the book (Chapter 9):

"Donât forget to enter your password and username â which in the case of Gmail is your full Gmail e-mail address. Depending on your settings, you may need to generate an application-specific password, which you can do here: http://bit.ly/N9Wv35."

Hi, I think I have same issue here. I have asp.net web application and I use gmail to send emails in this application. It was working well for a long time. Suddenly the production server stopped sending emails. The same works good on my local development pc as well as a test server. How can i fix this issue? Thanks
