Default I dont see an article that you mention on the book..

I was checking on the book, page 80, article 5," position your mouse on the curly braces"..
You mention that after right click ,choose the build styles from the context menu.
I am supposed to see the "Modify style" menu but I don't get any of that..And I tried it a million times..
I am stuck on it and it's frustrating..

Can you please double check for me?
Thanks

Hi there,

Are you using Visual Studio 2013 instead of 2012 that is discussed in the book? If so, you'll need to manually write the CSS code as Microsoft removed the Style Builder in VS 2013.

Cheers,

Imar

Just add the CSS file as described in the book, and then type the code and save the file.

You can't view a CSS file directly in the browser, so when you press Ctrl+F5 on a CSS file, Visual Studio will open the default start page instead. In order to see the results of the CSS file, you need to link to it from a page or master page, as explained in the book.

Hope this helps,

Imar
