Default Ch1:Creating your first ASP.NET website

I am using a Windows 10 computer with VS community 2015 installed.
When I create a new website ( ASP.NET empty website ) it creates only web.config file. The rest of the files and folders as shown in the TRY it out example are not created. I can't figure what the problem is. It seems pretty basic but I am unable to proceed further without a solution.

Visual Studio 2015 has works differently in a number of areas, and this is one of them. I would recommend installing 2013 side by side (which works just fine), use that version to follow along with the book and then use 2015 for your own projects.

Cheers,

Imar
