The web site (wrox planet) is working fine when viewing in browser but on the design view panel all the asp controls are showing - Error Creating Control - Error HRESULT_FAIL has been returend from a call to a Com component.

Please help ASAP

Have you tried restarting Visual Studio?

I have restarted Visual Studio and PC twice, but the result is same :(

In that case, can you supply more information? Which version of VS 2010 are you using (look at Help | About), how did you open the site, does your Error List show any errors?

Please be as specific as possible. While this seems to be an issue with your installation of VS, there may be a logical explanation....
