Have you tried refreshing the data source? There's a link on its Smart Takss panel....

Refreshing the data source did it

Refreshing the data source for SqlDataSource1 from it's Smart Tasks panel did the trick. VWD first put up a dialog asking about regenerating the fields for the existing Grid View and then again for the Details View. Thanks.
