Default Book recommendation

I would like to, sometime in the not to distant future, take the next step up from your book to another level. Unfortunately, I noticed, if I am not mistaken, while browsing books at the local library that the Wrox Book "Wrox Professional ASP.NET 4(ISBN 978-0-470-50220-4)" requires that you have the platinum edition of Visual Studio 2010. That is a rather expensive toy to say the least. I have Visual Studio 2010 Professional. So needless to say, that book is kind of out of the question. Any other books you might like to recommend like, maybe on an intermediate level that supplements and moves forward from where your book leaves off? I don't know, how about also something with Silverlight maybe?

Thanks again

PS
I have also noticed that some of the Visual Studio screen shots in your book are just a little bit different on certain rare occasions than what I actually see on my PC screen when I am working through the examples in your book. I can't quite figure out why, but maybe my eyes are just tricking me now that the allergy season is in full bloom.

Three things:

1. There's no such thing as the Platinum edition
2. You could download a free trial
3. I think you only need this for some of the examples / tocics. Most of the stuff should work on the Pro edition as well.

Quite possible, as Visual Studio comes in many different flavors and is higly customizable. What you see in the book is the default out-of-the-box experience on VWD Express with as few changes as possible. What are the differences you're seeing?

Default Correction.

Sorry I meant to say Premium not platinum. Again, allergies are in full bloom now during the spring season and my eyes get all red, watery and puffy and I sometimes misread things. As far as the different appearing screen shots of Visual Studio are concerned. I haven't seen any lately, but I do remember seeing them in the past. So the next time I run across a discrepancy I will let you know.

Thanks again.

You can download a free trial of the Premium and ultimate edition of Visual Studio 2010? I didn't know that.
