Default SiteMapPath control and themes

Let me first say that this is an incredibly well written, beautifully organized book. I am enjoying every second of learning with this and that is pretty rare, so first off: THANK YOU.

I added a site map path to the Wrox site today, per the instructions in Chapter 7. It works perfectly--but when I switch to the Dark Grey theme and go to sub pages, the page reverts to the Monochrome theme, even though the selection drop down shows Dark Grey. I was thinking this is a browser caching situation (I saw the same behavior in FF, Chrome and IE9), but I can't figure out how to resolve it.

Any suggestions?

Regards,

Kim

Thank you!!

Are you sure the page that now shows the Monochrome page inherits BasePage? WIthout that base class, the user selected theme is never applied and the default theme from the web.config is used.

Cheers,

Imar

Wow, that was fast!
That fixed it. When I did it originally, I noticed your reminder about that, but I got it mixed up with something else and thought I had done it correctly. thanks much!
