Hi sir
on page 424 exercise i created the genre table according to your instruction but in step 5 I expand the identity specification tab , but in it(Is Identity) property is not visible. means it is dim due to which i am unable to select.
What may be reason?

Hi there,

Two things I can think of:

1. The column is not an int. The Identity works with integers, but not with types like char or varchar.

2. You selected a different column in the list for which the identity is not available (because of the type).
