"Beginning ASP.NET with VB.NET".

Looking at the list of contents it looks like a lot of it is covered in the more general book - is it a case that Beginning ASP.NET Databases will have slightly more 'substantial' code examples rather than masses of new technical info relating to ASP.NET Databases?

Don't know if you'll get this, but I am working thru this book only to find it frustrating using Access. I don't like that I get to Chap 8 and find there are Classes and Namespaces in the MSDE for Access that are NOT used in Matrix. you have to grab them specifically.

Moving along well...until I find out that it won't take me step-by-step through that part - connecting to the database and manipulating the data in and out of the db!!! This is what I wanted.

If you are looking for SQL commands - this one easily covers it

The book was good to work thru, but less loveable when I encountered the above problems. grrr..
