Default Express vs Full Version

I already have VS 2008 Pro edition. Is the look-and-feel of the full version the same as the Express version? I'd rather also install Express than use Pro and get confused by thing not looking the same as in the book.

If Dr. Purdum answers: any relation to one of my CS professors (33 years ago) at Indiana University, Paul Purdoum?

Thanks!

There are differences between the Express and Pro versions of Visual Studio. For example, with the Express version, you cannot distribute the application and some of the debugging features are missing. However, if your goal is to learn C# and OOP, either version will work with my book and the screen shots and directions are virtually identical (i.e., some screen shots of menus may look a little different because the Pro version has more options).

If you have a choice, by all means use the Pro edition. Sorry, no relation to the person you mentioned...

Dr. Purdum
