In Chapter 3, you are to make a POP MENU. Well I went thru the procedures twice and both times I received the Little box with an red X in it during the IE preview where the small bullet arrow was supposed to be. So I deleted the regions.htm file and uploaded the same file from WROX code and now I have the arrow indicating a submenu. I saved both files and compared them line by line. I could not see any differences. Can somebody explain why I recieved this box?

Hi there,

(I was on holiday for a while, so I haven't been able to respond earlier.)

Did you already figure this one out? If not, my guess is that the images for the menu we not uploaded to the testing server in the first version (you'll need to use the Put command to send them there. Right-click your site in the Sites panel and choose Put)

Likely, in the second version, you copied the entire code from the download to the testing server, so the images where there to be viewed in the browser.

Hi,

You need to synchronize the site contents. By doing that all the images you
have added on those pages are copied into you remote folder also and when
you preview the page using F12 key or browse the page, it will show all the
images as well.
