Hi Wicky,
You should be able to follow along with some of the topics explained. For example, the way how Dreamweaver works and how to use CSS within Dreamweaver are the same between the two languages.
However, be prepared for a rough ride in other sections of the book. Many concepts in Dreamweaver behave differently for PHP then they do for ASP. Besides explaining you how to use Dreamweaver to have it generate (data access) code for you, the book also explains what that code does and how it works.
Since the PHP code is completely different from ASP code, these explanations will be useless to you....
So, if you want to follow along with the book, I'd say it would be very useful if you'd understand ASP and PHP already. Otherwise, you might get lost in the differences between the two.
