I'm very frustrated. For the helloworld application, the double-click necessary to open .xib files, doesn't work in my computer. Any can helpme?

Did you try reinstalling the iPhone SDK? Can you provide more information or screen shots showing your setup? Just knowing that double-clicking does not work does not allow me to know what is really wrong with your computer.

I'm not sure if this is the same problem, but if I close the window that was displayed when I double-clicked a .xib file, subsequently double-clicking the same .xib file does not re-open the window.

(This is not a question about the book as such, but if this is a bug in the SDK (I have the latest version), or I'm doing something wrong, it might throw some light on the original question)
