hello sir,
my name is vemal, from malaysia. i have deep interest in learning programming language. so currently i try to learning java by buying ur book. yes a very old book. i bought this book from a secondhand book shop. basically in malaysia the programming books all are very expensive so an university student i cant afford to buy one, so decided to buy secondhand book.
my question is, currently i using jdk 1.7 n esclipse compiler in my computer. so the Beginning Java 2 (jdk 1.3 edition) is the coding and the lesson you teach in this book, can we use in my computer? and if yes, where can i get more coding programs for this edition.
i also need ur advise in using current JDK and old school JDK. is it useful learning old school JDK?
