Where can you download PHP6?

i want to download php 6 but i can't find it in this page

Finally I've downloaded php6 and i follow the steps in the book carefully but the

test doesn't succeed please help

I can't find php6 to download and in the php.net you can see that they write "php6 has not released"

where can i find php6 ?

Hi , I have another question
i can't see the result which is on page 13.
and i see as same as the codes , which I wrote in notepad :

why this happens ?
how can i fix this problem ?

Hi Habib,

I purchased this book well over a year ago and although I managed to make my way through it, it was very hard work. The book contains plenty of errors (not as many as Beginning PHP5, which is worse!) and incorrect assumptions.

If I had to go around again I would start with Sitepoints - "Build your own database driven website using PHP and MySQL" by Kevin Yank.

btw - I used PHP 5 in place of PHP6, as it wasn't available, but that didn't influence the outcomes.

PHP6 is still only a beta release and I've never been able to locate a download page (though the idea of working with a beta doesn't exactly thrill me either). For now I'd recommend doing what SaminOz has done; use the PHP6 book and but program in PHP5. Just keep your eyes open as most of the PHP6-specific stuff is marked as such. That clearly won't work until PHP6 is ready.

but if I write php5 with what has been written in book , How can i match apache with php5 .
i have this problem too , that my php and apache aren't mach with each other.

Hi,
I purchased this book in Italy (in italian languages) and i can't use it because i can't find all files required on book about PHP6.
I got the file "php6apache2_2.dll" but i need "php_mysql.dll" and how can i rename the file php.ini if i haven't php.ini_dist or recomended ??

i think writers must to do something for us readers...
for example create a page-site where to load all files we need to study and use this book.

I hope they can read my words...

I've faced a lot of troubles in getting php 6 and configure it . from the link below you can
download AppServ 2.6.0 and it includes
1 Apache 2.2.8
2 PHP 6.0.0-dev
3 MySQL 6.0.4-alpha

so you won't need to download each programe separetely and configure it like in
the book . this programe is pre-configured all you need is to download and install it
