this is my first post, n would like to ask that, is their any change to be made
working on xampp with php6, coz i have bought this book and was following all the instruction for the installation of apache,php,mysql.
i was installing
1.httpd-apache2.2.22-win32-x86-no_ssl
(even tried apache2.2.9 as mention in this book)
2.php-5.2.5-Win32 ( bt the latest version php 5.2.10 was without libmysql) and
3.mysql-essential-5.1.61-win32,(others 5.5.21)
(note:i have made all changes i.e php.ini, httpd.conf, copy paste libmsql to C:\windows\system32, and the path to "C:\PHP;C:\.....2.2\bin"
i first run
http://localhost/ it say IT WORKS!
then tested
http://localhost/test.php
but all the tags form <html> to </html> appeared.
so presently i'm using my previous installation xampp, bt it seem most of them comes with a Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in...
Plz anyone help me out if changes to be made in the xampp configuration
with regards.
