hey i noticed with the forums when you post a new topic, it doesent go right on top, is there a way for it to go from latest post?

Assuming you only want to to this in viewforum.php not in topic.
This is simple:
Change the DESC (descending) to ASC (ascending) in the SELECT at ORDER BY re_posted DESC
