error e2133: unable to execute command 'ilink32.ex

As with the post by Paulieglott, I am at a brick wall regarding
the compiler's error message:"unable to execute command 'ilink32.exe'
unless I set the directory to c:\borland\bcc55\bin\. I have installed both Bcc55sp1 and 2.

Nothing from page 143 to page 149 works. It's very frustrating.
