I am working through Chapt 3, Document libaries, and I am trying to upload a Presentation / Slide to a Presentation Libary.
When I Upload:Publish, it invokes Powerpoint 2007 (with a warning that Powerpoint Professional) - I open my Presentation, and then Button Publish to Document Server.

But the Publish invokes a Save as type dialogue (No Slide Selector) I type in a http:// address (little help, or guidance here) and get errors, Can only upload Individual Slides to Server, please use Publish ! - But there was no option to select individual slides.

Nor Can I upload via Explorer view

It all seems a bit mixed up, as to why there is no upload whole presentations option, as well as upload individual slides. - I can at least check in a whole Presentation under Documents Library.

Although SharePoint seems very powerful, we are still being confused by all the inconsistencies in Sites, pages, User interactions etc. So your book is proving valuable.
