I just completed Chapter 1 and find the book to be really great for someone new to Swift. I'm mainly familiar with JavaScript and am struck by the similarities. I am looking forward to using Swift and Xcode to produce an iOS version of my web app at http://texasworkforce.org/tbcapp. It is somewhat slow-going, though, since I am used to developing in either pure HTML/JavaScript or else a "card"-based IDE like HyperCard (years ago), LiveCode, or ToolBook. Anyway, thanks to the author for a great book so far!
