Default Begin VB.NET Ch12 - Registry

Chapter 12, Page 419 describes a registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.NETFramewo rk\AssemblyFolders" My PC does not have this entry. But AssemblyFolders is found in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\VisualStudi 7.1\" Is this an error in the book? or my registry? What advice can be supplied to continue with this exercise?

It appears that the Assemblies folder doesn't get created unless some assemblies are installed by some other program (e.g. VS or third party control).

I believe you should create the AssemblyFolders under the key specified in the book and then create the MyAssemblies folder under that.
