Default Chap 1 Data Type

Pg. 22 shows the second fied to be "varchar". VS 2005 pro offers two choices - varchar(50) and varchar(MAX).

Which should be used?

I found the answer ... more detail is provided on page 21. This should be fixed on page 22

For others reading this post, you can directly edit the number of characters in the Date Type column. For example, you can change varchar(50) to varchar(40). The other way to do this is to use the Column Properties tab at the bottom of the screen and change the Length field.
