Default Problems with Chap. 17 pg.557 & 558

I am having the same problems I have seen on other postings. I haven't seen a solution posted.

When I run my project, I get buttons that go all the way across the screen using IE 7. Why is that happening? (The same thing happens when I run the downloaded code for the book.)

I don't have the DefaultClientScript property, the same as several others.

Please help.

Al

For each label and button, be sure to Layout > Position > Absolute.

That should work for keeping the items in position.

Also, for DefaultClientScript take a look at the Errata. I had to add the following line of code in the Source view:

    <meta content="text/VBScript" http-equiv="content-script-type" />

after the <title> tag.

Hi Mike-

Thanks for the reply.

The buttons stretch across the screen using absolute positioning.

Al
