I appreciate the tip about IE8. The thing is, I'm a Mac user, and the big browsers for us are Safari and Firefox (at least in the U.S.) IE can be downloaded, but its version with Mac is slow and outdated.
There seems to be a growing disconnect between what this book is saying will happen at the end-of-chapter exercises and what my Mac and Textfile are showing. See more in my next post.
