Default Dev Training on home PC

I have all the required software to work through the lessons in this textbook, except for the MS SharePoint 2010 (SP10) . I heard SP10 can not be installed on a home system that is running Window 7 Home. Is that true?

If so, what other options do I have in order to complete the last section of this textbook? Could I use a 3rd party hosting company that has SP10 as a service or should I upgrade my OS?

There are some workarounds to installing SharePoint on Window 7 http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...ice.14%29.aspx. Personally, I prefer to create a virtual machine then install SharePoint in the VM.
