Default SQL Server Versions

A majority of our enterprise runs on SQL 2008. Our default SSIS environment is 2008.

I just went out to pick up SQL Developer to use with this book. 2008 is not available. I had to get 2012.

I will be working through the book on my local 2012 Developer edition. I hope to take the finished product to our 2008 systems. What do I need to watch out for?
