Post Column and Scatter charts with Catregory and Series groups

Has anyone ever handled column and scatter charts with catregory and series groups. The intention is to have the scatter chart be inside of the column chart per category and series groups. But it seems te scatter chart only follows the category group and disregards the series group and thereby all the points for the scatter chart are all on the same x-axis per category.

I have seen a forum about this, but the solution was for Dundas back in 2007

http://support2.dundas.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=6981

I heard that Dundas used to be a pug-in into SSRS but then SSRS bought their pulg-ins and incorporated it into the later version like 2008 and 2008R2.

Anyway, I can't seem to figure out how to handle this type of chart layout.

Page 286 of this book is the closest I can get to my dilema. But no solution on it yet.

First thing, Miscorsoft acquired Dundas chart, gauges and maps, this includes for SSRS as well.

If you are using SSRS 2008 you may want to look into using the secondary axis in your chart. You can assign your series to point to different axes.
