Default request management

Chapter 5 was very difficult for me...where you explain about Request Management.

When am I supposed to use this?

If I have a page that has 2-3 listeners in it (periodic refreshes, that are constantly polling the server), then should I use the Request Management code in Chapter 5?

Thanks!

This chapter was just a description of more advanced Ajax management. In many cases, you probably won't need this level of control over the requests.
