    I want to fill dropdown whenever i select state from another dropdown.

I'm new in AJAX and i'm working as ASP Consultant.How to use above in asp Page using AJAX?

Well you'll need to create a web service that returns the second dropdown's contents when passed a state code.
Once you have that you can use any of examples in the book to call the service and pass the sdtate code then parse the results and populate a dropdown.
