Default Chapter 4: Can't get Figure 4-7

Hi,
Before proceeding further, I try to run the Activity to get Figure 4-7 in page 108. The emulator did come out but when I press the 'menu' button, there is no 'Add New Item' or 'Remove Item' Icons at bottom of screen. Instead the 'New To Do Item' text within the EditText box was 'entered' as new item in the list.
Pls help to enlighten how to debug or what should be the approach t tackle.
Thx.

Default Chapter 4: Can't get Figure 4-7

It is me again.
I tried again and using reference to the new codes from the new book "Professional Android 2 Application Development" as I am using Android SDK 2.1 now. I am not exactly copying totally but check if there is differences due to different SDKs used, example the res/drawable.
This time the icons come out fine when I click the menu button.

But now I got new problem, my action of adding new item to the listview is not working. What is the best approach to find the bugs: using DDMS or the Java debugger in Eclipse ?

Thx.
Rgds

Default Chapter 4: Can't get Figure 4-7

It's me again.
Now, I tried the whole original project codes from the new book "Professional Android 2 Application Development" path: Android 2 Project example\Chapter 4 To-do List 2.
But , the problem still exist! I can't do any inputting of the item list at all.
Is it the way to use center mouse key or the original codes got bugs?
Please help if any.

Thx.

Default Chapter 4: Can't get Figure 4-7

Hi,
It is me again.
As I play around with emulator's keys, I discovered that actually it works with the navigation center select key. Oh, I was mistaken with the "center D-PAD" to be the mouse center key.
Everything is ok and working fine now. No more question.
