ListView not as described in Chapter 7 Page 338

Page 338 (paragraph 4) says: You have two options...

Well, in my situation, neither of the two options is available because the ListView smart tag does not look like Figure 7-31.
My smart tag does not show a "Configure ListView" option nor does it show a "Current View" option.

I suspect that this has something to do with the fact that I am using a stored procedure to access the database.

Has anyone else encountered this problem and if so - how to work-around?

Is there another method for "defining the templates" ?
