Default Publish Vista IIS7/XP IIS 5.1

I've been trying to publish the nerddinner, I built MVC2, but have some strange things happening first, the scripts don't seem to work unless they are in the aspx files that need them. and the links in the about box don't seem to have the proper security to return to the home or create page.

I've publish to vista (IIS7), and xp(IIS5.1)
