Default Versioning Analysis Services projects

It's my first post on this forum, so not at all sure this forum is the right one
I've been requested by a customer to provide versioning for an Analysis Services project and for the reports based on this Analysis project but, as far as I know, versioning is only possible with Integration Services , it pertains to the Package properties (VersionMajor.VersionMinor.VersionBuild).
Does anybody knows about a "solution" allowing versionning of Analysis Services and Reporting Services objects?
As BI developer, I've just a basic knowledge of VB and I'm using BIDS (boosted with BIDS Helper) for developing my BI projects.

Default

The easiest way to version SSAS and RS objects is to push them out in their XMLA and RDL (respectively) formats and you can version those things directly. HTH!
