The majority of the reports I'm creating in Reporting Services use parameters that need to be dynamic, such as, sales reports running for the previous day.

The solution I have come up w/ so far is to just make the stored proc have a default for the parameter. This works, but it would be better to do this through reporting services as I would need to modify a ton of procs out there to implement this among all our reports.

If anyone knows how to set the default for a parameter through reporting services to the previous date, please post!

just create a new dataset and call it default date. Set it equal to
dateadd(dd,-1,getdate(). Then just set this dataset as the default for your paramenter. Bang, you're all done.
