Default Programmatically rendering to PDF

Using the advice and example code in Chapter 9 I have successfully incorporated programmatic rendering to HTML for all the reports in my Web App., but when I define the format as PDF Acrobat reports that the "file is damaged and cannot be repaired".
What could be the problem?

BTW I have successfully tested rendering the same reports via URL to PDF format.

Hi All,

We had this problem, it's a bug in some versions of Acrobat Reader. You need to update to 7.0.8 (from 7.0.0 or 7.0.5 etc).

Alternatively use Foxit PDF reader which is faster and only a 1.5 meg download. We've tested it with SRS reports and it renders pixel perfect in both Acrobat and Foxit.http://www.foxitsoftware.com/downloads/

Cheers - Andrew.
