Default XnaShooter loading .X models problem

I have tried to add several own .X models to the shooter, but there seems to be some kind of a problem. The models load but instead of using there own textures, they use some of the textures (randomly i guess) of the models which come with the game. I tried loading the apple.x model from the previous chapters and everything works fine, so i guess the problem is in the .X models. Has anyone faced the same problem?
